Davido launchs youth empowerment foundation
Nigerian artist David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido turned 24 yesterday 21st of November,born into the family of Mr Deji and Mrs Vero Adeleke in
Atlanta, Georgia, United States Of America.
The O.B.O crooner who came into limelight in 2011 after his popular song “Back When”that features Nigerian rapper Naeto C. and now has his own record label called HKN music and has featured many popular Afro-music stars like Wizkid, Ice Prince, Tuface,Naeto C, Olamide, Lynxxx,Skales and many more. His popularity skyrocketed over the years making him one of the most loved Nigerian musicians today.
He launched his O.B.O foundation for youths at his birthday party yesterday at Eko Hotels and Suites with many celebrities in attendance.According to our reports,he says “There are so many people in desperate
need for help in our country and yet their cries for assistance often go unheard. I am also aware that there are a number of high profile individuals and celebrities who would love to lend a hand and make a difference in the lives of these individuals, but do not
have the time or resources to make a meaningful contribution”.He hopes to contribute to the improvement of our society.
